Kiss Me Japanese Mascara has an excellent reputation for its long-lasting results, as it keeps shape and prevents creating any smudges. From Japanese celebrities and makeup artists to K-pop idols, many people have spoken good things about this mascara made in Japan. But does it actually make your eyelashes volumize, curl, and define? I have experienced it by myself and right here I will review this mascara in Japanese. So keep reading on!

II/ Kiss Me Japanese Mascara Reviews

I should start by saying that I have been using Maybelline Volume Colossal in Waterproof as my only mascara for the past five years or so. I never experimented with new mascaras until I saw the Kiss Me Japanese Mascara. Although I enjoy cute packaging, something about this made me wonder if it wasn’t just advertising to cover up for what might be within.

I was astonished to learn that this was one of Asia’s most widely used mascaras. There are other options for volume and length, but this time I went with the Kiss Me Japanese Mascara Long & Curl because it was the most well-liked. And below are my review of this mascara from Kiss Me Japanese.

2.1. Packaging

I was immediately taken with how chic the outer box was. This Kiss Me Mascara Japan product gets a bonus point from me for being pink and simple to find in my makeup bag! Without the need for scissors, the outside box was incredibly simple to open. I think the mascara container is a convenient size to hold and utilize. It is really simple to open, and the wand has a lovely curve shape with microscopic wired bristles that would grab every eyelash on your face.

2.2. Ingredients

Your lashes will maintain their curl throughout the day thanks to the shape-memory polymer and “lock-in” components in the mascara. High-tech to the max. And because Kiss Me Mascara ingredients also contain camelia oil, royal jelly extract, argan oil, and wild rose oil (wild rose fruit extract), you can be certain that you are coating your lashes with the best eyelash essence elements that not only beautify but also nourish.

Full Kiss Me Japanese Mascara Ingredients: Isododecane, Trimethylsiloxysilicate, Talc, Microcrystalline Wax, Ceresin, Disteardimonium Hectorite, Iron Oxides (CI 77499), Dextrin Palmitate/Ethylhexanoate, Hydrogenated Polyisobutene, Propylene Carbonate, Nylon-66, Sucrose Tristearate, Aluminum Distearate, Glyceryl Isostearate, Trimethylsiloxysilylcarbamoyl Pullulan, Polymethylsilsesquioxane, Zinc Laurate, Silica, Camellia Japonica Seed Oil, Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Oil, Squalane, Argania Spinosa Kernel Oil, Rosa Canina Fruit Oil, Titanium Dioxide, Acrylates/Ethylhexyl Acrylate Copolymer, Ammonium Acrylates Copolymer, Hydroxyethyl Acrylate/Methoxyethyl Acrylate Copolymer, Dimethicone, Sodium Dehydroacetate, Panax Ginseng Root Extract, Royal Jelly Extract, Tocopherol, Ascorbyl Dipalmitate.

2.3. Fragrance

Although it doesn’t have the terrible chemical smell that some mascaras do, there is a slight mascara smell to it. Regarding the strength of the perfume, the smell-o-scale is a 3.

2.4. Performance

Even before applying the Kiss Me Japanese Mascara, I could tell by how much was expelled from the bottle that it wouldn’t clump up on my eyelashes. I was dubious about whether this product would actually work because there wasn’t much product coming out of the wand.

Even though there wasn’t much product on the wand, I decided to give it a try and applied it to my curled eyelashes. The fact that the wand was already curled made it very simple for me to apply the product, and I can attest to the fact that it does not clump at all. Even though there isn’t much product on the wand, it accomplishes the job of uniformly coating my eyelashes and lengthening them with the unique fiber.

I adored how my eyelashes looked after using mascara. The mascara color I used, “Jet Black (01),” is really accurate to its name. Because the mascara allows me to coat my eyelashes evenly, my eyelashes appeared incredibly natural while also providing a little something extra to draw attention to my eyes and complete my makeup look. Also, despite still appearing completely natural, my very short bottom lashes look considerably bigger than they did previously.

And I have to say, this mascara is amazing. My eyelashes still appear as though I just applied mascara 10 hours later. I’m amazed at how well it has maintained its shape and curl and how little it has smeared.

2.5. Removal

How to remove

The only aspect of the Kiss Me Japanese Mascara product that I didn’t particularly like was perhaps how to remove it. I frequently use micellar water to remove my makeup because it works better than oil-based makeup removers at getting rid of the majority of the makeup.

I utilized the micellar water even though the package instructed me to remove the product with oil-based makeup removers. Did it succeed? No. I was a little disappointed that the micellar water did not function at all. But my belief that it’s arguably the best mascara ever hasn’t changed.

III/ Where To Buy Kiss Me Japanese Mascara?

Honestly, this Kiss Me Japanese Mascara product didn’t budge at all! You have to pay 30$ for it. A little pricy but I think for the price you pay, it’s totally justifiable and does its job well! You should generally refrain from purchasing a product if you see it on the market for a lot less than this normal price in order to safeguard your health because it is possibly fake and of low quality.

The Kiss Me Mascara products are popularly sold in the Japanese domestic market, making shopping easier than ever. However, there are many counterfeit sellers that consumers find it difficult to distinguish. Therefore, to purchase genuine products, you need to choose reputable sellers.

Janbox is one of the leading Japanese proxy shopping services in the market. The cross-border shopping application of Janbox directly connects with major Japanese e-commerce platforms such as Yahoo Shopping, Rakuten, Mercari, Amazon Japan, allowing you to freely choose any Japanese domestic products.
